About Parkd
Byproduct of Student Innovation
Parkd began as a simple idea between two students who saw a frustrating reality on their own campus: permit registration was slow, enforcement was inconsistent, and the process felt outdated.
Rather than accept it as "just how things are," we saw an opportunity — both to solve a real problem for students and staff, and to challenge ourselves as engineers.
We combined our backgrounds in software development and product design to create Parkd: a modern, streamlined platform that makes it easy to register permits, manage guests, and enforce parking rules — all from one dashboard.
What started as a campus side project quickly grew into a mission to help schools everywhere save time, reduce hassle, and make parking work better for everyone.
